NBB has an employee lot that can be used. For the bike, I recommend 38c tires but here’s why: there are some pretty rocky descents. For 85-90% of the ride a robust 32c tire is fine. So for that extra bit, take it slow and you should be fine. Folks have done this ride on 32c for sure. More important is tubeless if you can swing it. Almost everyone who ran tubes had one or two pinch flats from the descents. Tubeless folks didn’t obviously have this issue.

I would be driving up from Phoenix AZ would there be a place to store my car that is safe? I also have a trek 520 with stock 700×32 tires and rims would that be good for this kinda ride.

The receipt is the first step; the registration info (with the discount codes, etc.) is slightly delayed but should go out this week. Looking forward to riding with you!

The website says there would be a welcome package with discounts, more details, etc. Did I miss something? Thanks, Kimberly

There is a good rundown of what to bring here: http://newbelgiumramble.com/2017/01/04/what-should-i-bring/

I’m thinking of using my CX bike, so wouldn’t have mounting points. Is there a support vehicle to carry tents and sleeping bags? How about clothes and spares? Are you just required to be self-sufficient for the day?

Thanks
Mike
